If you are a fan of Michael Jackson, do NOT buy the new album “MICHAEL”

On December 14, 2010, Sony is set out to release what it calls a new Michael Jackson album. In the weeks leading up to this release, controversy has risen over the authenticity of the album. Randy Jackson, Michael’s younger brother, has come out saying some of the tracks are fake and do not feature Michael singing. His sister Latoya Jackson and even Michael’s children have come out and said it is not Michael Jackson’s voice on some tracks in this new album. Yet efforts have been made to insist that the album is authentic anyway.

Any confusion as to how Michael Jackson really sounds, the passion he had and perfectionist he was concerning music, the depth, soul, range, strength, and sound of his voice and talent up until the day he died can easily be cleared up by watching his most recent performances in “This is it”.

In “This is it” you hear Michael.
In “This is it” you see Michael.
That was in 2009.

In “This is it”, you see how particular Michael is and how even the smallest flaws lead him to stop everything until they are corrected. So Michael Jackson remained Michael Jackson until the day he died, he did not wane in his style or voice.

Fast forward to the abomination called “Breaking News” (the first new single off Sony’s new “MJ” cd) and $ony’s new album titled (deliberately and incorrectly) “MICHAEL”.

“Breaking News” is not Michael Jackson. It might contain sound bytes of Michael, but the main vocals, the lyrics, the style simply isn’t him. Given that MJ had a falling out with Sony before he died, and MJ was relieved to know he’d be a free agent soon and anxious to release his own independent album before he passed, it isn’t surprising that Sony wouldn’t necessarily have the King of Pop’s best interest at heart.

In short, “MICHAEL” is undoubtedly a garbage album with songs do not feature Michael. A few songs might feature Michael, but are most likely poorly mixed and of mediocre quality at best.

Why do such a thing? Maybe to ruin Michael’s legacy and taint his name & brand in the minds of his fans (old and new), all while making money off of them.

Again, “MICHAEL” is most likely a crappy, amateurish album, ironically picturing a crowned MJ on its cover. It has nothing to do with Michael Jackson and is not worth buying. Save your money.

Finally, it does not matter who Sony gets to say the album is authentic. Recently producer Teddy Riley and “friend” Eddie Cascio were featured on the Oprah show to do just that. It is merely a promo, that’s all. The tracks aren’t Michael Jackson and the one’s that are probably suck in quality due to production. Do not waste your time or money. Remember Michael Jackson for who he really was: Thriller, Off the Wall, Beat it, Dangerous, Invincible, etc.

Actually it DOES, it symbolizes him as the KING of pop, or probably some other reason, but besides that. YOU think you can tell over a BILLION fans of Michael Jackson to not buy his album? ARE YOU HIGH? SHUT THE HELL UP! for the sake of EVERYONE.
